You know, it is an entertaining evening that the first model from the cab of the snug fit walk on the podium was his the member for Clarence woman - and she's just wearing her underwear.

While this may seem a bit mischievous, it was all in the name of fun when Vicki Gulaptis Maclean, wife of Chris (the safe ensconced somewhere in Sydney) was released, sporting cotton panties and corset to show exactly what women in its glory for the first Grafton Cup in 1910 contributed.

The parade of vintage fashion was the highlight of the official launch of the Clarence River Jockey Club Racing Carnival in July 2013 on Friday evening at the regional office of Grafton.

After the initial icebreaker clothing of that time were dropped from curators and collectors Robin Hosking Maclean, in a scene reminiscent of Picnic Hanging Rock. This was quickly followed by a larger dazzling convoy elegant designs of the great era of the 1920s, Gatsby is better in 1980 selected by curator and caretaker of this collection, Kathy Smith.

While the official discourse has focused on the history of the carnival parade was a glamorous vintage way to remind us how the race to sign the carnival came to 100 years.
