Make a colorful journey with the new Louis Vuitton Travel Book
launched a collection of short stories entitled The trunk of French writer wrote. The stories were standardized by known strains and legendary home.
Then of course there are the Louis Vuitton city guide, must-reads for luxury travelers and collection for those whose idea of a perfect trip is settle in a chair and be transported to places far exotic and glamorous, one side at a time. There are also travel diaries, colorful albums dedicated to unique destinations. I remember that the money for the New York Edition, when I was in college.
In May, Louis Vuitton launches its latest additions to its travel literature. A new series called Travel Book is available at Louis Vuitton stores worldwide. To book travel, the French luxury house has four artists from four different countries invited to visit cities that are foreign to them. The French illustrator Jean-Philippe Delhomme walked the streets of New York. American artist Daniel Arsham discovered Easter Island. The Japanese illustrator Natsko Seki traveled to London. Cheri Samba, creative Congo, went to Paris.
Each discovered and explored the cities artists, they were invited to visit with her new eyes, they give us drawings and color reproduction, and sites they have seen. Browse the books, we see the architecture, historical places at once familiar and new sights and executed in each of the middle and techniques of the artist. There are virtual tours of cities (there is little text), we could have in the past, from a new perspective. We are invited to take a trip with the artists, discover a symbol of a little-known street of images of young lovers outside of Notre Dame Cathedral to the giant statues of Easter Island. As a big fan of the work of Delhomme and as someone who calls New York my home, I find myself in awe of his drawings of the city and its inhabitants, make mental notes of what I visit next time I'm in the Big Apple AAPL +2.4%.
These four editions of the book tour will be purchased for U.S. $ 56 per piece. They also come in a special volume of the manifold. Each of the cities will come in a limited edition of 50 bars. They are leather-bound, signed and numbered by the artist and is a print ready for framing included. The price for this limited edition volume has not yet been announced.
